Peninsula Digital Solutions ("we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through peninsuladigitalsolutions.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Site only. Client services are also governed by each client's signed service agreement.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, business name, the service you're interested in, your preferred language, and anything you write in your message when you use our contact form, email us, or call us.
- Client portal accounts: your email address and login credentials if we create a portal account for you.
- Billing information: when you subscribe, our payment processor Stripe collects your name, email, phone, billing address, and payment details. We receive your contact details, plan, and payment status, but never your full card or bank account number.
- Technical information: pages visited, referring page, campaign tags in the URL (such as utm_source), browser type, and a one-way hashed (scrambled) version of your IP address that we use to prevent spam.
- Site performance data: anonymous page-view and speed measurements collected by Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights. These tools do not use cookies to track you across sites.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry and provide the services you request.
- To schedule consultations and communicate in your preferred language.
- To understand which pages and campaigns bring visitors to the Site.
- To protect the Site and our forms from spam, fraud, and abuse.
- To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies that are needed for the Site to work: one remembers your language choice (English or Spanish), one keeps you signed in to the client portal, and one is used during private previews of the Site. Our contact form uses Vercel BotID, an invisible security check that reads technical signals from your browser to tell people and bots apart. Stripe sets its own cookies on its secure checkout and billing pages to prevent fraud. We do not use advertising cookies on this Site.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not give it to third parties for their own marketing. We only share it with service providers that help us run the Site and our business, under their own privacy and security commitments:
- Vercel (website hosting, anonymous analytics, and BotID spam and bot protection)
- Supabase (database and client portal login)
- Resend (sending form notification and confirmation emails)
- Google Workspace (business email)
- Stripe (subscription payments, invoices, and the billing portal)
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to respond to you and follow up on your request, and client records for the length of our relationship plus any period required by law. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing contact@peninsuladigitalsolutions.com or calling (650) 701-6330. We will verify your request and respond within a reasonable time. We will not treat you differently for making a request.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no common standard for these signals, the Site does not respond to them. We do not track visitors across other websites.
Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and reputable providers to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The Site is intended for business owners and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page and change the "Last updated" date above. For significant changes, we will also notify clients by email.
