This page explains the rules for using this website and summarizes the key terms of our monthly subscription plans in plain language. Every client signs a written service agreement before we start work. If anything here differs from your signed agreement, your agreement controls.
Subscription plans and billing
- Plans are billed monthly, in advance, in U.S. dollars, through our payment processor, Stripe. Current prices are listed on our Pricing page. Applicable taxes, if any, are added at checkout.
- Your plan renews automatically every month until you cancel. We will remind you of your plan, price, and how to cancel at least once a year.
- A one-time setup fee applies to month-to-month plans. It is waived when you choose a 12-month agreement.
- We will notify you in writing at least 30 days before any price change, and you may cancel before the new price takes effect.
- Upgrades take effect right away. Downgrades take effect at your next billing cycle.
12-month agreements and early cancellation
- With a 12-month agreement, the setup fee is waived.
- If you cancel before the 12 months end, you repay only the unused portion of the waived setup fee: the fee multiplied by the number of months remaining, divided by 12. There is no other early termination penalty.
- After the first 12 months, your plan continues month to month at the same price unless we notify you of a change.
How to cancel
You can cancel at any time online through our secure billing portal (the "Manage Billing" link in the website footer or the button below), by emailing contact@peninsuladigitalsolutions.com with the subject "Cancel my subscription", or by calling (650) 701-6330. Cancellation takes effect 30 days after we receive your request. We will confirm your cancellation in writing.
Advertising budgets
Ad budgets for Google, Yelp, Meta, or other platforms are paid by you directly to each platform and are not included in plan prices. We never mark up your ad spend. Plans that include ad management cover spend up to the limit shown on the Pricing page; above that limit, a management fee of 10% of the additional spend applies.
Ownership
- You own your domain name, the content and photos you provide, and your Google Business Profile, Google Ads, and Analytics accounts. We manage them on your behalf.
- While your subscription is active, we license the website design and code to you. After your first 12 months, you may buy the website files for a one-time fee stated in your service agreement.
- When you cancel, we will provide an export of your content and data, as described in your service agreement.
No guaranteed results
We work hard to improve your visibility and results, but search rankings, ad performance, and sales depend on factors outside our control. We do not guarantee specific rankings, traffic, leads, or revenue.
